Datafeeds

The Joy of Standardisation

In the relentless pursuit of standards, one area of human endeavour remains unsullied by the drive to conformity: the financial datafeed. One day, no doubt, the likes of MDDL will spell an end to this, but for the time being, providing the mechanism to deliver your organisation's real-time data to the world is the perfect opportunity for the creative software developer. This creates a problem for the organisations that want to receive the data, but an opportunity for people like us. Because we love writing handlers for datafeeds. In fact, over the years, we reckon that we've clocked up getting on for 40 different feed handler developments, so we think we know what we're doing.

These days, we develop all our datafeeds to run within the PlatformOne™ environment (because it's the one that we know and love, and it also means we can offer them for use with the Tracker system). However, because of the OnePlatform program, this means that most of them are also immediately available to run as native handlers within other platforms, such as Triarch, MTRS and RMDS.

Availability

Here's the full list of the datafeeds that we currently support. If there's one that you need that isn't here, drop us a line, and we'll see if we can add it. Our usual policy is that there's no such thing as a bespoke feed development. If it's good enough for one client, it's good for another. All of which means that there's no premium on unusual feeds; we generally charge the same price whether it's off the shelf or if we have to develop it.
